+ COVID-19 Information

As a makeup artist, I always have followed strict guidelines when it comes to client safety. I'm happy to discuss these with you on a one-on-one basis as well. Please click here to contact me directly. If you are interested in what you should expect during your appointment or if you'd like to see my most recent sanitation certificates, please click the pink buttons below. Here are few things that I do with every client to ensure the health and safety of my clients.

  • Clean, sanitize, and disinfect all brushes before each client. Brushes are also disinfected frequently during the appointment.
  • Sanitize, disinfect, and wipe down palettes between clients and regularly during the appointment.
  • Sanitize my phone, ring light, the chair or anything else I may come in contact with during the appointment.
  • Use disposable options when available. These include: sponges, mascara wands, paper towels, q-tips, and more.
  • Use liquid or cream products from a sterilized palette so that no product is touched in its original container.
  • Wash my hands before each client and during the appointment if I have to step away for any reason.
  • Wearing a mask during the entire appointment, the only exceptions are if I take a sip of water. I do not consume any food during the appointment or in the vicinity.
  • Sanitize and wipe down all surfaces and any equipment that can be touched during the appointment.
  • I do not allow anyone to touch any of my equipment or products unnecessarily and if it occurs it will be sanitized.
  • Clients arrive on a staggered basis (unless I'm traveling to you for a wedding appointment) to avoid too many people being in the salon at one time.

Retainer/Payments

The retainer (previously referred to as ‘deposit”) is non-refundable and non-transferable (unless specified otherwise). Tickets are non-refundable. Payments are non-refundable. If a package deal is being offered with a required minimum your payment will be refunded if that minimum isn’t met. Final payment is due by the ending appointment time. Travel charges may apply

No appointments will be made without a retainer. If the artist (Katilyn Boyer) is unable to hold the appointment due to unforeseeable circumstances or is forced to cancel, the client (you) is issued a full refund of the retainer within 30 days of cancellation notice.

Cancellations/

Changes to Contract

When entering your information in the wait list bookings you understand that does not guarantee you an appointment. Appointments are booked on a first come, first serve basis and are not guaranteed without a paid retainer.

Once payment is received the client has 30 days prior to any wedding appointment date to cancel your appointment regardless when it is booked so please plan accordingly. This applies to any appointment that is for a wedding or category “wedding” appointment listing regardless of the travel arrangement. If the client cancels after that 30 day period the client will be billed/charged the remaining amount listed. You will be charged upon cancellation if you cancel past the grace period. If your card on file cannot be charged you will be billed accordingly, there is a 5% interest charged per 30 days past due. If you need to reschedule your appointment after the the 30 day period you may do so however you will have to pay for the new appointment separately as this is considered a new month.

If the artist can accommodate changes to the contract (the original appointment details) all changes must be made a minimum of 7 days prior to the appointment. If any changes are made after that a Change of Contract Fee of $50 will be charged/billed to the client. There is no guarantee that the artist will be able to accommodate changes but will do her best to be as flexible as possible.

For all other non-wedding appointments (i.e. music video, commercial, photoshoot, etc.) the client must cancel within 48 hours of the appointment or you will be billed/charged accordingly. You will be charged upon cancellation if you cancel past the grace period. If your card on file cannot be charged you will be billed accordingly, there is a 5% interest charged per 30 days past due. Examples of these types of appointments are prom makeup, homecoming makeup, "going out", and any other appointment where a retainer is required. If you need to reschedule your appointment you may do so before the 48 hour limit. After the 48 hour limit you will have to pay for a new appointment.

If the client does not appear to the appointment within 20 minutes of the scheduled appointment time without making other arrangements with the artist, the client will be billed/charged the remaining amount and the appointment will be cancelled. Please be aware if there is a no call/no show for an appointment you will not be able to book again unless determined otherwise by the artist.

No appointments will be made without a retainer. If the artist (Katilyn Boyer) is unable to hold the appointment due to unforeseeable circumstances or is forced to cancel, the client (you) is issued a full refund of retainer within 30 days of cancellation notice.
